Meistres Gwenhwfyr Ber Cain, OP is a 6th century Welsh lady with no love of vowels. Gwenhwfyr‘s penchant for Classical Greece and Rome occasionally shines through in her choice of clothing, although her contemporaries think her quite antiquated. She is often found cheerleading others into service and just generally being a “helper monkey”. She’s a perpetual dabbler, exploring arts across all times and places, including sewing, weaving, embroidery, cooking, glass beads, casting, and anything else she can be wrangled into by her friends.

Before joining the Order of the Pelican in 2012, Gwenhwfyr was protege to Maistir Daimhin Cinncaidhe. She also belonged to La Maison de la Fleur en Chaines, the household of Sir Roland de Carre (now retired). She has long been friend and student to Mistress Maol Mide ingen Medra, and a founding member of Maol’s Feilican Ghiardan, a household collective that has grown to encompass dozens of peers from all Orders and their associates. She and her partner Brian lead a fabulous Blessing of Narwhals, which include a glittery collection of wonderful associates.
